TBH that loss for town at the end was hugely a fault of mine, sorry that I could not be more active and I couldn't play better ;-;

Game 31: Separated Scum

Re: Interactions, I took the previous ones with a grain of salt as well, given the number of stars needed to align for us to figure out who is interacting with who. I don't feel like LyLo should include such "What If" situations and more "Why did you..." arguments.

I was more rushed Day 3 as I was informed it was nearing DL and the threat of a No Lynch loomed. Day 4 was more slow-paced, and I did not anticipate my inability to arrive before DL came, so I was less hasty to lynch, and was mostly trying to clear up questions and accusations.

I already said that as the main scummy bit about was not contributing, there really isn't a lot I can defend about that. I'm trying to fix that as of now but then the only real option to stave off my lynch was by pointing out whatever was wrong with said lynch

Game 31: Separated Scum

Ok, so I do not CC Ed S.

Which leaves this as LyLo between me and Mona, with Ed S. as the clear.

Lynch Mona

Why would you consider me and Roderick interactions in deciding scumteams when he's a traitor and I would be a normal Mafia?

Secondly, I believe I was the more scummier of the two, why would he offer himself up when he can just as easily BS something at me, assuming we somehow know each other.

Why would you be expecting me to lynch Roderick when the chance of a quickhammer is from Kodama is real? It was between me, Roderick and Kodama, even though the choices were still pretty much between me and Roderick, I'm not planning to take unneccesary risk.

I mean to defend yourself from votes you either increase your own credibility or point out the other's lack of credibility, so one just needs to be higher, I couldn't really increase my own credibility at that point but I could find fault with his vote (before I realised it was a pressure vote)

Game 31: Separated Scum

Ed S. wrote:I'm personally not satisfied with this response. Discrediting is not a form of defense but an attempt to handwave away a lynch because it's not really "valid." Why not defend yourself if you're very much aware that you're scummy?

I do wonder if Wilkinson will respond now (and ever explain his readlist) with plurality not on him.

Re: Roderick being OS Vig that shot Magnus, I can see that being possible and it's supported by the fact that Roderick very clearly hasn't read much of the thread. The comment on Magnus was on D1 though, so this would require scum!Roderick #2 to probably not read any of D2. (Of course, it's also possible he saw Magnus's Vigging order of Kazalie>Kazalie>Kazalie during his skim of d1 and concluded Magnus was Vig following his own intentions, even if Magnus gave a second order later d1 [which still had Kazalie at the top].)

I was initially lynching Wilkinson in this post, but then I noticed your comment that Roderick should now feel pressure to post. He's almost certainly going to lynch Wilkinson when he gets online, and right now I don't want to give him incentive to just do that and leave.

I see your lack in confidence in me.

My readlist was a preliminary one, most of the ones on there are pretty self-explanatory:

Ed S. being obvtown, spearheading scum lynch, active engagement.

Kodama lean town, the vote was weird but after I realise it's a pressure vote, there's no problem with the rest of his posts, they are solid and they serve purpose.

Roderick is the only other real lynch today since it's either between me and him. He's posted more earlier on, but he hasn't really posted at all today.

Mona sorta null here, originally thought they were scummy on first skim but on second thought, they really have not done anything that makes me lean in one direction

discrediting is a form of defense no? If the vote held little credit in the first place I don't see issue with pointing that out rather than defending myself in some other fashion

You know I don't see how you see me as 'not defending myself' right after you said 'only reacts under pressure'. How does one have both traits at the same time?

Game 31: Separated Scum

My lynch isn't entirely BS, but Kodama's reason for hopping on is honestly not the best this game can come up with.

What makes you think that I will hammer instantly? What makes you think Roderick will hammer instantly?

I wasn't posting only out of pressure, I wasn't even online until I saw the lynch. I'd argue that what I've posted, while not remotely close to making me a townread, is somewhat useful, as in not pure shitposting. I'm just posting my thoughts as they come along, and my "reads based on activity" is not true and I'm reading the people that stand out

I mean re: the Kodama thing, I was not online at the time of his posts. The 5 minute window means nothing if I wasn't online then.

I;m saying that as I'm scummy there are far better things to push for than me not being online for 5 minutes

nextly, there was a 5 minute window you gave me sometime AFTER I made my post, when I got off.

Are you trying to try to take advantage of me being scummy to BS a push on me? What does Roderick have to do with my lynch? I don't believe that is the best that people in the game have to lynch me for and I don't think you are being entirely genuine there

Ed S. wrote:Could you go into more detail with your reads, perhaps?

You gave no read on Kodama. What are your thoughts on him?

What did you see that made Maria slightly less townier than me?

You seemed to know you were coming back, so why did you feel the need to lynch right then and there? Planning for a lynch is one thing, but normally people plan before doing something and not after.

Well, my reads aren't really well formed right now, I'd like a bit more time to fully consolidate them with full reasoning. Rough list rn (from Town > Scum): Ed S. > Maria > Mona > Kodama > Roderick

Examples (like this post) are everywhere, while both are actively gamesolving, I see you posting more of this kind of posts that really engage other users, which leads to more productive posts than just throwing out points.

I was just planting my vote on the scummiest person on my skimmed before continuing. I see no issue in letting my vote rest on someone before properly gathering my thoughts, and I'd rather my vote be doing something rather than nothing

re: Mona "wagon", I've said it before and I'll say it again, wagon was the wrong choice of word, at that point I only skimmed the thread and I was basing what I said off the support backing the said "wagon". I don't know how much you're planning to read into a misused choice of word, but I don't think it's AI in any way

Ok so in response to couple of things, I already admitted 'wagon' was the wrong choice of word, so ask more about the new choice of word rather than my slip up when forming my post please.

Also ' a couple of hours' is very vague, and I apologize, I will get back and talk in 5 hours.

Game 31: Separated Scum

My being quick to lynch was me putting a vote on one guy, after already stating we should start considering our lynch targets. Unless this game is planning to start consolidating at 2 hours to DL, I don't think that planning for the lynch is wrong.

Wagon was the wrong choice of words on my part, I mean the support a lynch has

Ed S. is nice with his post activity and high quality of post content. I'm confident he's Town here.

Maria is also quite Towny, slightly less than Ed but still a solid TR

Mona had quite a few suspicious posts, which is why I considered voting them, and they aren't exactly being the most active gamesolver.

Similar to above, Roderick has the same problems,

And Rhonda refuses to come on, which is worse than me.

Game 31: Separated Scum

Ok Rhonda, not Roderick.
Re: the pressure voting case, I don't feel like you have to put plurality on the guy, but a single file stray vote is also ignorable, and stating your intent further worsens the situation. Right now it's going to be tough to get reads out of people so I think here it's best to gather people for a lynch since I don't trust in the activity of humans.

Right now I'm torn between Mona, Rhonda and Roderick, they all have reasonable genuinity in their wagon but Roderick just seems really iffy to me.
RN the Rhonda wagon doesn't feel comfortable just to join given the presence of other players, but Mona feels even worse to join so yeah.

It's LyLo and we really have to vote, so Vote Rhonda.

I'm going to stay on there for a while before I more thoroughly consolidate my own reads.

Game 31: Separated Scum

Ok so like I can't really be super indepth now because I'm sorta in a tough spot (under my table charging my phone lol) but I've skimmed thru this earlier on my computer back when I requested to be subbed in.

So like, It seems my sub was this great user who decided not to post anything so rip me.

Ed S. Feels good to me, Maria's activity looks real solid here too.

I see that many people are scumreading me and Roderick"s slot, but I can't really provide a really indepth rebuttal. I probably can get more active in about a couple of hours.

Right now I'm going to be responding to a few notable posts I came across before I go and shoot down the less noticeable ones.
