I've played mafia for some time, but it's not clicking. You were talking about Kat being too townish, then swapped to me being obvious mafia within the statement "too townish?" I don't follow xD

Umm but that would completely disregard scum hunting... I mean E gang was obvious WW yesterday, but you never mentioned he was too obvious. What about Sullivan? Or lets delve into Game 17 and mention Zach. Or we can delve into game 15 and bring up Kuroyo. It's happened before where there were people who were "too obvious." And they turned out to be scum.

i think i get what you are trying to say. "Scum wouldn't act so scummy." But that's a WIFOM argument. Some people, like you argued before, are just bad scum. Others are good at being scum. Take for example E gang or Kuroyo, who were bad at being scum.

No, I did not "Scum wouldn't act so scummy". What I meant was how Katrina was such a strong read for most people that she was almost considered a cleared person lately.

Dr A? His decline in activity aside, he was only cleared from being a WW suspect because he was on Sullivan and his buddying with Dr. Yung came up quite often iirc.

So between the two of you Katrina was "obvious Town" and Dr A was "obvious Mafia". It's completely different than Egan being obvious WW.

I began the day with questioning those reads because I had this thought "Wait, WHY am I so convinced she's Town?" and once I reread the game, I wasn't convinced about this at all anymore.

And by the situation everyone can relate to I meant the situation where the most Townish player and Town leader is revealed as scum at the end of the game and everyone goes "WHAT?!" for 10 seconds, and then they go "OOOOoooooohhhh, that's right".

I don't see how I was like, "Obvious Mafia" I admitted to buddying with Dr. Yung. Some of it may have been from pre-game creepiness, but I think it was just because Dr. Yung was so fucking logical. They were a town leader, why wouldn't I follow and buddy? xD

Also yeah, that happens. But still, like, Lakoko/Victoria/Kimimaro/Numaji/Zane were all town. Not all town leaders are hidden scum. Also would scum really be Mel/Yung/Kat and ALL of them act as town leaders? I doubt it, it's too risky a pattern.

Im starting to understand the different mindsets people have in anon games and I'm suspecting Ralph to be scum just based on how he's been acting. He also seems to agree with what everyone else is saying and not adding many new points himself.

If I were to lynch right now it would be either Ralph or Aiden, but I'd like to see some discussion on who everyone else suspects before finalizing anything. I'd especially like to see some activity from inactives such as Egan, Ryou, and Mollie's new sub.

Anyways post your top picks for mafia and why. Ryou has been kinda weird (wishy washy? not sure if it counts as wishy washy though) lately. I could see him as potential scum, however I can't ignore the fact that Dr. A would be a better fit for mafia than him. Ryou was pressured by both mafia members, so unless they were plotting to bus him or completely separate themselves from each other, I don't think he's mafia. Dr. A has been mostly supported by the mafia, and even he's admitted that he was pretty close to Dr. Y. The only time he got any pressure from a mafia was after the Dominick lynch. However if I really look into that it seems more like she was doing damage control. She didn't pressure Dr. A on his lynch either. Although that could have been part of an elaborate next level plan by Ryou and Mel, which is highly unlikely imo because a plan of that caliber would require intense planning and preparation, which Ryou and Mel would have been unable to set it up since Ryou subbed in mid-day, and I doubt they mapped the whole thing out during the pregame or N1. So yeah, unless I'm neglecting to account for something, Dr. A seems more likely to me.

Kat's post does make sense to me. Deadline is tomorrow and I am pretty convinced I will be on Dr A. I'm not going to lynch just yet, obviously, but I don't think I'll be swayed.

Why would I openly admit to buddying with Dr. Yung after he flipped mafia? xD I had in my mind that I was clear, so like, lol I didn't think you'd all turn on me. Rip me I guess. I still want to think of Ryou as scum though, I just can't put Kat in a scum team with Dr. Yung and Mel B. It just doesn't seem to fit for me.
