PSAnon 1000th post ramble:

January 12th, 2014. This is the date that I posted the threads for Games 1 and 2 of the Pokemon Showdown Anonymous Forum Mafia Tournament. And oh man, it’s been a ride since then. Over 5 years later, here we are just having completed Game 35. I never thought what started as me bringing up an idea and people saying “yeah sure I’d do it” would turn into something like this.

For that, I have to thank everyone who has played in every game. I don’t care if you’re the long timers at the top of the leaderboard, or if you’re 16bit. Every single one of you has helped make PSAnon what it is. Because of you all, we have so many great memories. There are the legends like Wonto absolutely dominating two games straight then disappearing, the wtf moments like Drookez as Osashi shifting plurality onto himself, the memes like “hi i here im villly”, and the general fun outside game banter, like when I used to be able to stalk locations. There are so many amazing moments and players who have come and gone that it's impossible to name them all.

So once again, I thank you all for participating and giving me the motivation to host one game after another (with some breaks ) for the past 5+ years. It’s been great.
