Point Distribution

This is a tournament, so here is the rubric of points:

TOWN
Getting lynched: -3
Being a cause of a town death (voting for a mislynch or incorrect vigilante shot): -2
Being alive for a town mislynch, but not being part of it: -1
Each scum death you are alive for but did not participate in: +1
Getting nightkilled: +1
Being the first nightkill of the game: +1 (cumulative with the above)
Being nightkilled as a Vanilla Townie: +1 (cumulative with the above two)
Getting a successful guilty investigation: +2
Each townie death successfully prevented using an ability: +2
Each unsuccessful end of day vote against scum: +2
Each scum death you participated in: +4

MAFIA
Getting lynched: -2
Leaving the game without reaching win condition (i.e. death and your team loses): -1
Each night period you live to see: +1
Each lynch you participate in that is not a player of your own faction: +1

SURVIVOR
Leaving the game without reaching win condition (i.e. death and loss): -2
Each phase (day or night) survived: +1

SERIAL KILLER/WEREWOLF
Leaving the game without fulfilling win condition (i.e. death and loss): -1
Each night phase you are alive for: +1
Each threat's (investigative or killing roles) death you participated in: +2

WIN BONUSES
Town: +4
Mafia: +3 per surviving team member
Serial Killer: +8
Werewolf: +4 per surviving team member
Survivor/Other Neutral: +4
Alternative Win Conditions: +2 bonus (cumulative with main win condition)

MISCELLANEOUS
Being named MVP by the mod: +2

PENALTIES:
Being modkilled for rule-breaking: -8
Bad sportsmanship (trolling, flaming, etc.): -4 (mod and admin discretion)

NOTE: With the exception of bad sportsmanship, any score penalty from the penalty section enacted during a game will invalidate any points gained or lost from that particular game.

Why this?

Town has a lot of ways to gain lots of points, that just balances it out. If you have your vote on scum and a town player gets lynched, you get +2 for unsuccessful vote against scum and -1 for being alive for a mislynch.

If they random lynch they have a possibility of losing points themselves.

But surely RLing is a good tactic so y would ttht lose points
